Blueberry Buttermilk Muffins

1 cup low-fat buttermilk
1 egg
1/4 cup vegetable oil
1/4 - 1/2 tsp. Fiori di Sicilia
2-cups all purpose flour
3/4 cup sugar
2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1 cup fresh or frozen blueberries sugar to sprinkle on the tops.

Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Whisk together buttermilk, egg, oil and flavorings. Mix flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda and salt in a large bowl; stir in buttermilk mixtrue until just blended. Carefully fold in blueberries and put into prepared muffin pans.
Sprinkle sugar on the tops of the muffins.
Bake 20-25 minutes. Yields 12 large muffins.
