In heavy skillet, over low heat,
melt 1 stick of butter. With a pastry brush, brush all the sides of the skillet
with the butter, then add 1 cup of maple syrup. Remove from heat.
Slice 2-3 bananas evenly and spread over the bottom of the pan. Sprinkle chopped
pecans over that. Preheat oven to 350 degrees
Mix up enough pancake batter for 6 (I use the 2 cups of Bisquick recipe) Pour
batter over the banana-syrup combo, put in oven, and bake for 30 minutes. Let
cool approximately 5 minutes, invert on large plate, and serve. PS - leftovers
are excellent cold.
